What stood out about 2025?

From Fimvo’s perspective, a lot happened last year. But when we look back at the highlights of the year, the first thing that comes to mind is our effective day-to-day cooperation with actors across the pharmaceutical supply chain. Together, we succeeded in keeping falsified medicines out of the Finnish pharmaceutical distribution system.

Other milestones of the year included Ritva Lehtonen (Sanofi Oy) from the Pharmaceutical Industry Finland becoming the new Chair of Fimvo’s Board. In the update of Fimvo’s strategy, our goal was to strengthen our role as a key contributor to ensuring the security of the pharmaceutical supply chain. We also increased awareness of Fimvo by renewing both our brand identity and our website.

We promoted awareness of medicines verification practices through a campaign aimed at pharmacy students. The absolute highlights towards the end of the year were the joyful encounters with pharmacy professionals at the Pharmacy Days event at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.
