Pharmaca’s medicines verification notifications will end

Pharmaceutical companies have been submitting medicines verification notifications since 2019. These notifications supported the implementation of the medicines verification system in Finland. Today, practically all packs covered by the Falsified Medicines Directive and the Delegated Regulation are subject to verification.

Therefore, the submission of medicines verification notifications will end on May 31, 2025. 

As before, it is important to continue reporting new and changed product codes to the Vnr database to ensure smooth medicine distribution.
