Building a Sustainable Future During European Public Health Week

European Public Health Week (EUPHW) will once again take place on 12–16 May. The week is coordinated by the European Public Health Association (EUPHA). The overarching theme for the 2025 activities is Innovation for Resilience: Building a Sustainable Future.

Throughout the week, the focus will be on exploring how innovative approaches can strengthen the resilience of public health systems and help tackle global challenges. Events and online meetings offer opportunities to network, share knowledge, and develop solutions together with experts, policymakers, students, and public health professionals from across Europe.

Highlights of the week include

  • Opening event in Brussels and online on Monday, 12 May 2025
  • Hackathon: Piloting a Public Health Innovation Platform – Co-Creating New Solutions
  • Daily themes and webinars on topics such as mental health, global health, healthy ageing, health inequalities, and the future of public health
