EMVO release Info Pack for MAHs

EMVO would like to raise awareness among the remaining Marketing Authorisations Holders who may already have a contract with us at national level but haven’t on-boarded yet at EMVO level.

For that purpose, EMVO have prepared an Info Pack, which is composed of the following documents:

• A presentation showing which companies are affected by the FMD
• A letter reminding companies about the risk associated to non-compliance
• A letter presenting the best practice for a timely and smooth on-boarding
• A letter recapitulating the most important FAQs
• A letter addressing the obligation of affiliation between the OBP and MAH and detailing the requirements

Possibly the most important message included is: Take action now!

Previous experiences have shown that it can take up to 6 months to fully complete the On-boarding process, mainly due to internal corporate regulations and procedures of the OBP. Therefore, we urge you to start your On-boarding to the EMVO without undue delay, in parallel with establishing your internal software strategy for the serialization. The On-boarding process consists of two main stages:

o Contractual On-boarding - completion of a registration request, provision of several information on the OBP and affiliated MAHs, legitimacy check, fee payment, Participation Agreement.

o Technical On-boarding - completion of a system connection, system testing and system operation
